OneWorld Community Health Centers

On November 13, 2014, OneWorld Community Health Centers, Inc. will be holding their annual Milagro Dinner and silent auction to help raise money for affordable health care in the community. Joel Schlessinger and his family donated a LovelySkin gift certificate that will be auctioned off for the cause.

Donations from Joel Schlessinger and others help raise money for affordable health care in the Omaha area.

Located in under-served neighborhoods, OneWorld Community Health Centers, Inc. focuses on meeting the primary health care needs of the greater Omaha community. OneWorld maintains an open-door policy, providing quality, affordable health care based on an individual’s income and insurance coverage. What began as a walk-in clinic founded and run by volunteer providers has evolved into a federally qualified establishment with multiple locations, an on-site pharmacy and more comprehensive coverage that includes dental and behavioral health.

OneWorld Community Health Centers, Inc. strives to create an environment that fosters respect, compassion and human dignity for all patients, family and staff. In the nearly 45 years that they’ve served the city, they have worked to improve access to quality health care, built a support network of resources and maintained financial stability with donations like Joel Schlessinger’s.

Joel Schlessinger and his family are proud to support affordable, accessible health care for the city of Omaha. This is their third donation to the Milagro Dinner and silent auction, and they hope to continue to provide their support for years to come.
