Joel Schlessinger donates to the YMCA’s breast cancer awareness eventPosted by in Uncategorized
During the month of October, there are many different fundraisers and events that you can participate in to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, the YMCA in Norfolk, Nebraska is putting on their third annual Pumpin’ in Pink Party. Joel Schlessinger recently donated samples of skin care products that will be used in care packages for patients.
The donation from Joel Schlessinger will be given to women who are fighting breast cancer.
During the Pumpin’ in Pink Party, which will be held on Friday, October 24, members of the community can come together for a day of games, events, guest speakers and crafts. With specific events for adults, teens and children, there is something for the entire family. All of the proceeds from the event will go toward creating personal care packages that will be given to local breast cancer patients and survivors.
If you know a woman in the Norfolk area who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer or is a breast cancer survivor, you can nominate them to receive a care package and help brighten their day. Joel Schlessinger donated 50 sample packs of skin care and beauty products to be used in the packages.
This donation is the latest in Joel Schlessinger’s support for breast cancer awareness.
In the past, Joel Schlessinger has donated to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer which is put on by the Avon Foundation for Women. Events such as this not only raise awareness about breast cancer, but also raise money that goes toward research and patient care.
