Joel Schlessinger MD donates to his alma mater, Brown University
Dr. Joel Schlessinger and his family recently donated to Brown Medical Annual Fund. This fund provides support for scholarships and curricular development for the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Brown University is an Ivy League university located in Providence, Rhode Island. It is the seventh-oldest college in the United States and is a leading research center.

Brown University is a special place for the Schlessinger family. Joel Schlessinger MD attended Brown University from 1981 to 1983 for the basic science portion before transferring to Baylor University in Texas. Also, Dr. Joel Schlessinger’s daughter, Claire, is a current student in the undergraduate program.

Joel Schlessinger MD is still active with the Brown University community. He volunteers his time to interview high school seniors for admission to Brown.

Dr. Joel Schlessinger and his family have donated to both the medical and undergraduate programs over the years. They are large supporters of Brown University and enjoy assisting in any way they can.
