LovelySkin gives back!

LovelySkin and Dr. Joel Schlessinger recently donated a SilkPeel to Project Harmony for the nonprofit organization’s 12th annual Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. The event hosted 400 people and raised $65,000 to benefit Project Harmony and its mission to protect and support children, collaborate with professionals and engage the community to end child abuse and neglect.

Donations to Project Harmony make a difference.

Project Harmony provides immediate, effective and sensitive support to children who are victims or suspected victims of abuse and neglect. The organization also provides services to non-offending family members. The organization offers medical evaluations, forensic interviews, counseling and family advocacy services to children throughout eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Project Harmony’s annual Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Celebration raises donations to support victims of child abuse and promotes an end to child abuse and neglect.

Project Harmony depends on the help of donors and volunteers.

Since opening in 1996, Project Harmony has become a national model of public and private collaboration. The nonprofit organization has assembled a team of law enforcement, social service, medical and referral professionals who work together to dramatically improve how the community responds to child abuse. Donations to this child-centered organization allow Project Harmony to continue to protect and support victims of abuse.

In order to continue its important services, Project Harmony relies on the generosity of donors. Without their support, many of eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa’s children would go unserved.
